Mama Pup,

Hello, how're things at home? Is the little one showing signs of coming soon? I miss you and Jimmy quite a bit. I wish I could be there for you, I know you're getting bigger and Jimmy probably isn't being less unruly.

So, any feelings about the baby? Boy or girl? Healthy or sickly? Don't forget, if you need anything from me, just owl me and I'll run down to Hogsmeade and Apparate home as quickly as I can. You know I want to keep you and the babies safe.

     Three-quarters "Half-blood", eldest of three (sort of) boys by his father, only for his mum. His parents, Zacharias James Rosier, Sr., and Constance Smith, met in Hogwarts and married the day after graduation. Because of Zacharias, Sr.'s insistence, Zack received his mother's maiden name as his surname, so that his father could possibly pin the Half-blood onto his wife having an affair. Zack's childhood was littered with parental arguments that sometimes shook the entire household and frightened the house elves; at other times, they would almost seem to be civilized towards each other. He finally learned the reasoning behind the conflicts: his mother was incapable of having another child, and his father wished to take a mistress, someone whom he could take to his family's home without public ridicule. His mother refused.
     Constance, a restless woman with a slightly over-dramatic personality, couldn't handle the thought of being replaced, and so she left while Zack was attending his third year of Hogwarts (only fueling the rumors within the Rosier family of paternal doubt); his father, who obviously wasn't done with having children (in case his one heir ended up dying during the coming Second War), married a recent pure-blooded graduate from Beauxbaton. Not only is his "stepmother" not much older than he is, his half-sibling is a baby. With his father always away on business, he and Thérèse (Terri) were basically left to raise the child together, alone except for the house elves and pets.
     In spite of this, Zack feels no resentment for the two, soon to be three, figures who were catapulted into his life, and could possibly ruin it down the road by "stealing" his inheritance. The middle child, Zacharias James Rosier, II (Jimmy) is barely two years and doesn't know his own father; he mistakenly calls Zack "Daddy" all the time, and is rarely corrected. Terri is currently pregnant with the third child, Michelangelo Armand Rosier (his father won’t allow any girls names to be considered, because of his “lucky seed” so far), and the two young adults are ready, but not entirely willing.
     Feeling neglected by his mother and his father, both of whom pushed aside his needs to take care of themselves, Zacharias is distrustful of anyone who is in a position to possibly take care of him. His closest confidant is Terri, just as helpless as he, and within Hogwarts, he has acquaintances, but not really friends. He sees no problems switching sides and betraying those who thought he was trustworthy. His focus is keeping his family - his young stepmother and half-siblings - safe.

Obvious Stats: 5’9 (176cm), 180lbs (roughly 13 stone), Blonde, Brown eyes, 6th year, 17, born October 2, 1980, a 9.8" (25cm) wand - Hazel and Unicorn Hair.
Sexuality: That’s a good question; he’s never had a relationship, nor has he wanted one. He just hasn’t met the right person yet.

Pets: Two owls (one for regular use between home and school, one for emergencies that is kept at home with Terri’s impending childbirth), Terri's new puppy (adorable, no name yet) and a cat (pure white with blue eyes, Jashar).
Best Friend: His father’s second wife, Terri. She is a about three and a half years his elder, but she relates to him more than his peers. He is protective of her, but can’t keep his father from her, which infuriates him the most. He sees her as an older sister more than a possible love interest.
